Park staff generally start closing down shower buildings and turning off the water around the end of October depending upon the weather. A pit latrine, frost-free hydrants and dump station are available for off-season camping. If you are interested in camping in early April or later in October, there is no guarantee modern facilities will be available.
The park was flooded in 2011 which caused the park to close. Work will begin in 2013 to rebuild the park. It is unknown at this time when shelters and a campground will be available for use.
